What Our Happy Clients Say About Us.
“Dear Iman, My apologies for the delay in this mail. My journey through the Silk Road was fantastic and I have recommended to all those who have asked me here in my country, Chile. Whole organization as well as also the different tour guides in all countries were very good, A special mention to Rustam Nazarov from Uzbekistan whom travel a week and we became great friends, Also for the Chinese guide from Turpan to Urumqi, I recommend it to all who want to do this trip on the silk road occupying these services , the trip is actually for the Real Silk Road. It is a tiring trip because we travel thousands of miles and there are many places to know , but it is a journey that no one can forget never !
The price is very cheap if you consider the large number of flyings, hotels, places to visit, etc. Many Thanks for the wonderful experience traveling with Snowleopard I will travel again soon!! Thank you very much and greetings from Chile.” – Dr. Sixto Ulloa Chile
“Dear Iman Rahim, A great thanks to Snow Leopard Tours and to Iman Ali who was for us a perfect guide in the Hunza Valley which is probably one of the most splendid in the world, worthy to be listed in the Unesco world patrimony. Ali as introduced us beside the Hunzakut people, who has touched us with his high quality of reception and hospitality. My friend and I are insisting about the wrong image given by the media of Pakistan which is absolutely non assimilable to Taliban and extremism. The landscape are perhaps the most majestic and impressive in the world, Inhabitants are living in peace,open-mindedness,tolerance, and according to their traditionnal customs,This travel was a very delight and I recommend it absolutely” – Bruno Francq
“After researching several tour companies for Central Asia’s “Five Stans,” I decided on Snow Leopard Tours because they were willing to work with my schedule and to take me on as a single female traveler. For a very reasonable price, they tailor-made my tour-for-one with a local driver and professional guide in each country. The personnel I communicated with online as well as the guides on my tour were knowledgeable, considerate, and reliable. They made the trip both interesting and enjoyable. I opted for the economy hotel option, which proved an excellent choice, as all of the venues were centrally located, comfortable, and safe. The breakfast options at the hotels and the dining experiences at chosen restaurants at each stop were excellent. But the tour itself is what really exceeded my expectations! From the snowy mountains and colorful cathedrals of Kazakhstan to the natural hot springs and yurt stays in Kyrgyzstan, from the market scenes in Tajikistan to the towering blue domed mosques and turban-wearing men in Uzbekistan, and from the ancient sites now be excavated in Turkmenistan to the never-ending marble buildings in the capital, I was consistently awed. The breathtaking architecture and incredible natural beauty in Central Asia’s countries are not to be missed. I would recommend Snow Leopard Tours for anyone considering a guided tour through this intriguing part of the world.” – Andrea Withers, 38 years old – CA, USA
“Iman, Thanks so much for the fantastic job you did organising our first trip to India. We were very impressed with all of your tour guides and our driver, who were all very friendly and hospitable, as well as very knowledgeable about the history and culture of the cities we visited. The itinerary was well planned and the places of interest very enjoyable. It was wonderful to feel so well looked after and safe, so thanks for checking in regularly to make sure everything was running smoothly (which it always was!). Our Indian guide also did a great job of making sure all of the accommodation was clean and comfortable for us. I would not hesitate to recommend you to anyone travelling to this area of the world, and hope to travel with your company again in the future. Thanks again” – Helen and Rob QLD Australia
“I have just return from an amazing tour thru Central Asia and China which was organized by Snow Leopard Tours I have traveled the world extensively with various tourists companies and have to say that with out a doubt that Snow Leopard Tours are by far the best I have traveled with. There attention to detail is far and beyond what one would expect and even as I crossed six boarders from one country to the next changing guide and driver each time there were no problems with the new guide being available and waiting for me. Their guides and drivers were of the highest quality and all guides spoke good English. Vehicles were all modern, comfortable and suitable for some of the roughest roads in the world, I have never before experience a company who checked with my guide almost on a daily bases as to my welfare and making absolutely sure that all the travel plans were going according to plan and to my satisfaction. A great job well done by Iman of Snow Leopard Tours. I recommend him to any other traveler without reservation.” – Ken Trevathan – New Zealand.
“Iman, Congratulations on putting together such a wonderful trip. I’m happy to say it was the best ever. Even as introverts, we have to admit, the people “made” the trip for us. Simply overwhelming hospitality. The tour guides were fantastic – Nika was so enthusiastic and had a thorough understanding, Seville has a very detailed knowledge and was very good at sharing it, Mohsen has a reputation as the best tour guide in Iran – and it is a well deserved reputation. We have a complaint about the accommodation – if we had known it was that good, we should have stayed in the a cheaper range! So seriously, we were very, very impressed! We also greatly appreciated your phone calls – and knowing that things were being supervised. It gave us the reassurance we needed – and so we relaxed and really enjoyed it. We have travelled fairly extensively and yet our recent trip through Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan and Iran was clearly our best ever. We were surprised at how safe we felt throughout the trip – even boringly so! The scenery in Kyrgyzstan and Iran is more interesting and beautiful than in Nevada and Utah. The mountain valleys in Kyrgyzstan are more peaceful and luxuriant than in Mongolia. The gems in the Tehran gem museum are more exquisite and abundant than the British Crown Jewels. The bazaars are incomparable. From swimming with bikini-clad locals in the Issy-Kul Lake to playing chess and eating watermelon in the park, the experience was non-stop enlightening enjoyment.” – Carol & Ian Brisbane QLD
“Dear Iman, We would like to touch base and tell you how much we enjoyed our holiday in Uzbekistan. We particularly enjoyed our time with our guide Seville, who was exceedingly knowledgeable as well as good company. We were happy with our choice of Hotels, altogether we feel we saw a lot of the Country. I will have no hesitation in recommending Snow Leopard Tours to my friends and associates.” – Judy Law, Simon Law and Jennifer Showers Perth Australia WA
“Hello Iman, What a wonderful time we had in Uzbekistan! It was so good on arrival in Tashkent to see Gulnoza and Zac waving and smiling. We were cared for very well all through our trip. Gulnoza was very cheerful and good company. Our day with Timur in Khiva was just wonderful – not only filling our minds with so much interesting history but chatting to us happily about many other things throughout the day. Nozira in Bukhara was a beautifully spoken, gentle and very knowledgeable guide whose company we thoroughly enjoyed and Armida showed us the amazing Samarkand and provided a great insight into the wonderful sights there which helped our understanding of its rich history. We have returned home with a great desire to read more about these places. We would like to mention Zac, our driver in Tashkent and Samarkand who was at all times thoughtful and courteous and happy to look after us. We were privileged to enjoy an evening meal with his family in Samarkand – a special experience indeed. So thank you, Imam, for arranging this trip for us and for all your courteous correspondence. It was much appreciated, with good wishes.” – Diane and Ken Johnson
“Dear Iman, We have just arrived home from a splendid holiday in Uzbekistan. All of your arrangements proved very satisfactory and worked very well. The only hitch was that we were unhappy with the hotel in Bukhara for a number of reasons including that it was rather far from the centre. However Tatiana quickly and willingly arranged a transfer to another which was much more satisfactory, without any loss of precious sight-seeing time. Our guide, Seville, was a treasure. She was knowledgeable, pleasant and very professional. She was very straightforward and easy to deal with. She was also careful to adjust the programme to meet our particular needs and contributed very considerably to our enjoyment of the trip. I am also grateful to you for the pains you took at the stage where we were setting up our programme to meet our various wishes, with many thanks and best wishes.” – Steve and Peter
“Hi Iman, We had a great time on our Silk Road Tour. Our guides and drivers were fantastic – especially Jessica and Luyik who went above and beyond. The accommodation was good and always in a great location. Thank you for your organisation – the trip ran perfectly! We will definitely recommend the company and tour guides to our friends and family.” – Amay Page NSW Australia April 2012
“Hi Iman, Thanks for a great time in Tibet. Everything worked out well, Dolma was a great guide and the highlight was the Yambrok-Tso lake and visit to our driver’s home on the last day. I’m not sure that yak butter tea will be a regular drink for me, but I really appreciated that contact with their culture and felt privileged to be taken into his home. Please pass on my sincere thanks to both Dolma and our driver (who’s name I spell Me ma cidi ). I always felt safe and cared-for in their hands I’m back in Australia now, and the memories of my trip will remain for life. Thank you also for arranging the driver Mr Li in Xining – that worked ok and was an unexpected pleasant surprise. Thanks again – I will certainly pass on the Snow Leopard name to my friends Cheers Richard” – Richard Atkinson NSW Australia April 2012
“Iman, The six of us had the most wonderful time and thank you for all your planning and assistance you gave us before we left. It was way above expectations and I have set out a report below for your information. Guides: From Yuan in Xian, Brad in Lanzhou, Lily in Dunhuang, Lucy in Turpan, Albert in Kashgar, Ulan in Kyrgyzstan to Nadia in Uzbekistan – they were all of a very very high quality. Caring, extremely helpful and very very informative. As a tour guide in Perth myself, I really appreciated their outstanding contribution to the enjoyment and understanding of the places we visited. We have learnt a great deal about their countries, the political, social and historical aspects and we found we could have really interesting and lively discussions. Hotels: all the hotels were of a high standard. The only one in doubt was the one in Xiahe but that was probably the best available there. All were 4 -5 star, clean and very comfortable. Food: Far too much!! We dined in style but were embarrassed by the amount of food we left at each meal! We enjoyed the variety, and found that the meals in Uzbekistan much better and more interesting and appetising than we were led to expect. The guides made sure our every whim was attended to, beer, coca cola and of course tea were included in the meals. We particularly enjoyed Ulan’s meal of bread, cheese, tomato when we first arrived in Kygysztan – a change from the Chinese meals we had enjoyed for nearly two weeks! Transport: the buses were comfortable, the steps a little high for some of us! The drivers were all very pleasant and very helpful and caring. Shopping: We all had a great time shopping in markets, bazaars, stalls and have brought home many handicrafts, pashminas, jewellery. The guides were helpful with their advice and assistance if we needed it.Wand and friend picture
Sites: So many extremely interesting places visited, all of us probably with different memories. We were all interested in the history of the Silk Road, the religions, the trade – visited wonderful Buddha caves, sand dunes, mosques, saw snow capped mountains, deserts, markets… It was a very busy trip, we were on the go all the time, with little sleep some nights, long road journeys and a full itinerary of wonderful sites to visit – and we are so proud of ourselves that really we did not miss anything at all. We had the most memorable time and enjoyed it all very much.” – Wanda and friends Perth Australia
“I’ve just been talking to Bill Woodehouse and reminiscing about our never to be forgotten travel experience. I could do it all again tomorrow – but my bank balance tells me I can’t. Can’t thank you enough for your work on making this a possibility for Australian senior citizens. For me this was a dream of my childhood that came true.” – Ann Kiping Perth Australia
“Dear Iman, Just to tell you we really enjoyed our 3 week trip from Khiva to Kashgar! Particularly the 6 days in Kyrgysztan were unforgetable due to the very well experienced team we had there headed by Ulan.We had a great time staying either at small hotels, home stays or yurts. Unforgetable lanscapes, mountains, lakes and Tash Rabat! Finally the land border passage from Kysrgysztan to China at theTorugart Pass at 3700 m will be remembered by many reasons. One was by having to say good bye to your team and the other not so good was waiting for about 3 hours for your Chinese local agent to show up and drive us down to Kasghar. It was here indeed in China on those 5 nights we stayed there, where we had to complain at the condition of the hotels offered. However your prompt reaction after I contact you in Australia sorted out the matter. Nevertheless going along the Karakoram Highway…and standing at 4700 altitude at the Pakistani China border at the Khunjerab Pass was worth everyting, an event to be forever remebered! In Uzbekistan we also had a great time on the 11 nights we stayed there in good small hotels some boutique style and always very clean, even the yurt in the desert…, which was the only place in the whole trip we ate fish from the artificial lake nearby, both at dinner and lunch! Good driver throughoutt the journey and excellent guides particularly in Samarkand and Bhukara! Outstanding guides, one being a professor/lecture at the University and the other an high ranking staff of the local Museum. Well done Iman and Ulan! I will definitively recommend you to my friends and if I go to Tajikistan and elsewhere in the Region will use your services for sure!” – Joao and Joana Tome from Portugal
“Dear Iman, I would like to thank you for the fabulous trip that you organized for my sister and I. The guides and drivers were excellent and it all ran like clock work. I will thoroughly recommend your company to my friends and colleagues.” – Mariette ACT Australia July 2011
“Hello Iman, Ben and I just wanted to send you an email to say thankyou for our wonderfult trip in August. We did the Beijing to Tashkent trip and loved every minute of it. Our accommodation was clean and always in great locations. The food was fantastic – always far too much, but we did our best! But the guides were the best. It was great to get a different guide for each area because it meant we were dealing with local people who knew the best places to take us. They were all so knowledgeable with great English skills. They made sure that we knew the best places to explore with any free time we had, and always ensured that we were fine when catching trains or buses. We had never been on a tour before and we were a bit worried. But having finished your trip we would recommended it to anyone.” – Melissa and Ben Melbourne Australia August 2010
“We would like to give you some feedback on the Uzbekistan tour that we are about to finish. I want to start by saying that we have had the most delightful tour that we have experienced for many years. The tour leader/guide, Rustam Nazarov (or Rusty as he likes to be called), has shown exceptional flexibility, organisational skills and possesses an incredible knowledge of Uzbekistan history, traditions, culture and sights. He has proven to be proactive, resourceful and trustworthy and have never doubted his judgement or advice, especially when choosing restaurants or tweaking the schedule to best suit our needs. We have appreciated his professionalism and candour and his affable nature, keen sense of humour and huge sense of responsibility that has demonstrated throughout the trip. We would highly recommend him to any future clients as he is a true ambassador for this wonderful country of Uzbekistan. As for the logistics of the trip, we have to say that, with the exception of the President Hotel in Samarkand , all of the hotels have been very good, clean and the staff have been extremely friendly. The President, however, suffers from a general lack of professionalism and sense of duty by the staff and presently has aspirations above its ability to deliver i.e. it wants to compete with the European standard but has a little catching up to do. In hindsight, we think that the Malika Prime would have suited us better. The itinerary has been spot on, the drivers very competent and the water allowance most appreciated. So to sum, we have had an extremely enjoyable trip, made all the more so by the enormous competence of the team looking after us. We have never had to worry about anything and planning of every detail seems to have been considered. The greatest attribute though was Rusty, who understood exactly what are needs were and adapted as necessary throughout to accommodate them. Thank you so much for giving us the most conducive environment for allowing us to learn so much about Uzbekistan .” – Maria and Stuart United Kingdom 4th May 2010
“We highly recommend Iman and Snow Leopard Tours. Right from my first email Iman has been extremely helpful and put up with my constant questions, little or big!! We did the 5 Stans tour and anything I wanted changed or added he was very helpful and did everything I asked for if it was possible. The biggest hassles in these countries are the visas and they helped us get all the letters of invitations and all the places/sites to go etc. In Australia we don’t have the right embassies so things are a bit more time consuming and Iman was always there to help with any problems or queries we had. We did have some problems while on our trip which was nothing to do with the company and their help during this time was excellent. They compromised and came up with alternative plans, guides and drivers without a problem. We knew they followed our journey all the way and were interested in our comfort at all times. A special thank you to Iman, Ulan and Anvar for a fabulous, unforgettable trip.” – Sharyn & Stewart Millar Perth , Australia April 2009
“Thank you very much for a wonderful trip and experience through the Stan countries. I loved it all its beautiful sightseeing, especially the people. It was the most enjoyable trip I have ever had. It is very safe place to visit. Thank you for planning such a wonderful trip – we look forward to the next one” – Mike and Jen Austria
“Thank you very much for your service, the care of the guide and of course the beautiful mountains of Tajikistan’ The trekking in the mountains, the enthusiasm of the people who organised and guided us’ ‘The first couple of days were hard but once I got into it, I enjoyed the scenery and the quietness. We are looking forward for your Karakorum adventure next.” – Greg and friends Germany
