Morning drive through the beautiful Kamchik pass to Ferghana valley
Ferghana city is the administrative centre of Ferghana Region and an important industrial centre of Uzbekistan . Tour of Ferghana city includes visit to the famous Yod garlik Silk factory. It is still the only one in Central Asia where original hand made methods of silk production have remained. Silk fabric manufactured here is considered as one of the best in Central Asia . Continuation of Fergana tour includes visiting Rishton - a private pottery Factory. Since ancient times Rishton was famous for its ceramics. There are deposits of red clay, natural minerals and abundance of mountainous vegetation that is needed for painting process. Rishton artisans became well known for their technology of ceramic and pottery production. Overnight
Morning departure for Tashkent . On route visit Kokand . Kokand is situated in the western part of the Ferghana Valley . The Great Silk Road had played a major role in the development of the city. Visit Narbutabey Madrasah, Madari Khan Mausoleum, Dakhma-i-Shokhoon and Khudoyar Khan Palace . Later return to Tashkent for overnight at hotel (BLD)
Morning drive to Nurata via the Sheikh Nuri tomb and Namozgoh Mosque. After lunch in local house we continue to the Kazakh village of Dungalak ,. Upon arrival, check-in to camp “Aydar”. Overnight in yurts (BLD)
After breakfast, enjoy a camel ride in Kyzyl Kum desert. After lunch drive to Samarkand , capital of the Tamerlane's empire. Founded in the 7th century, this historic town vastly developed during the Temurids period from the 14th to 15th centuries and is now a melting point diverse culture. Overnight in hotel (BLD)
