Day 01: Arrival Islamabad
On arrival at Islamabad International airport, you will be greeted by our guide
transferred to your hotel. In the afternoon city tour of Islamabad followed by
the Damn-E-Koh (view point), for a panoramic view of Islamabad before. Our tour culminates at one of the world’s largest mosque – Shah Faisal Mosque.

Day 02: Islamabad flight to Skardu
In the morning transfer to Islamabad airport for domestic flight to Skardu. On the flight you may enjoy stunning views over thePakistani Himalayas. Note, fllights are subject to weather; in the case of bad weather we will depart for Skardu by road with an overnight stay at Chilas. Free afternoon an easy day around Skardu.

Day 03: Day trip to Shigar valley
In the morning drive to Shigar valley, which is the gateway to the great Karakorum Mountain Peaks and glaciers. Our visit includes Shigar fort; the palace is stands on the
bank of the Shigar stream and is built upon a massive rock. This 350 years old fort has been renovated by the Agha Khan Trust for Culture and is the only one of its kind in Pakistan. Later visit 400 years old Wooden Mosque. Return to Skardu, afternoon walk around the town. Overnight in Skardu at Concordia

Day 04: Day trip to Khaplu valley
In the morning we drive to another beautiful valley of Khaplu, beautiful town on the bank of Indus River. Visit the old Fort and Mosque built by in Tibetan architectural style. Overnight in Skardu at Concordia hotel. (BD)
Day 05: Deosai National Park – Rama Lake
In the morning we set off to Deosai National Park; one of the highest plateaus in the world, with height over 4,000 metres above the sea level,covering an area of about 3,000 square kilometres, the plateau is covered in snow from November to May. This pass is only accessible from June to September. It is well known for its rich flora and fauna of the Karakoram-West Tibetan Plateau alpine steppe ecoregion. In spring, ithe plateau is covered with wildflowers and a wide variety of migrating butterflies. Continue driving to Rama Lake. Afternoon walk around Rama. Overnight in Rama at PTDC Motel (BD)
Day 06: Rama Lake – Gilgit
In the morning we drive to the capital city of Gilgit Baltistan. Gilgit the administrative capital of Gilgit Baltistan and, perhaps, the most spectacular region of Pakistan in terms of its geography and scenic beauty. Here world’s three mightiest mountain ranges: the Karakoram, the Hindu Kush and the Himalayas –meet. The Gilgit Baltistan region is a paradise for mountaineers, trekkers and adventure lovers. The region has a rich cultural heritage and variety of rare fauna and flora. Historically, the area have remained a flash point of political and military rivalries amongst the Russian, British and Chinese empires. Immediately after the end of British rule in the sub-continent in 1947, the people of this region decided to join Pakistan through a popular local revolt against the government of Maharaja of Kashmir. In the afternoon visit the Kargah Buddha carved on the rock dated from 7th century AD. Depending on the season you may be able to see Polo match which is a very popular game in north Pakistan.

Day 07: Gilgit – Karimabad
In the morning we drive along the Karakorum highway toward Hunza, en-route we will stop at Raka Poshi Peak (7788m) view point, with stunning view of the Mountain while enjoying your lunch. Later proceed to Karimabad.

Day 08: Karimabad visit
Early morning we go for a short jeep ride to Duiker village to enjoy the stunning sunrise over the snow-capped mountains of Ultar (7388m), Rakaposhi (7788m) and Diran (7266m). After breakfast drive down to Karimabad via Altit village and Altit fort which was built around 11 years ago. Later visit Baltit Fort built 700 years ago. The fort has been re-buillt and remodelled over the centuries. In the 16th century the Mir (King) married a princess from Baltistan who brought master Balti craftsmen to renovate the building as part of her dowry. The architectural style is a clear indication of Tibetan influence in Baltistan at the time. The rest of the day is free time at leisure for shopping.

Day 09: Karimabad-Gulmit Gojal
In the morning we drive to Hoper Nagar valley, which can be seen from Duiker is on the opposite, eastern side of the Hunza River. This is another fertile valley and is predominantly Shia Muslim. This is one of the world’s fastest moving glaciers at Hoper. Afterwards, we drive to upper Hunza Gojal Gulmit. In the afternoon visit around the village meet the locals and learn about their cultures. In the evening you will be invited to local family for dinner. Overnight in Gulmit at Marco Polo Inn (BD)
Day 10: Day trip Ghulkin village – Borith Lake
Borith Lake – Passu and Ghulkin glacier In the morning we visit the local women’s handicraft centre and continue onto to Ghulkin village where you will visit some local houses and enjoy a light snack. Those who are energetic there will have time to hike via Ghulkin Glacier to Borith Lake; alternatively, the car could be used instead. Enjoy the beautiful scenery. After lunch optional hike to the Passu glacier. Later continue driving to Passu village. Later return to Gulmit.

Day 11: Day trip to Pak China border Khunjerab (4750 m) -Passu
Today you will be driving to the highest paved international border crossing in
the world and the highest point on the Karakoram Highway, the Khunjerab pass (4750 M) via the Khunjerab national park. Return back to Passu village.
Overnight in Passu at Ambassador hotel (BD)
Day 12: Passu – Besham
Return journey along the Karakorum highway to Besham.
Overnight in PTDC Motel (BD)
Day 13: Besham – Taxila – Islamabad
In the morning we drive to Islamabad en-route we will stop at Taxila, Taxila has a well-planned museum and many historic sites of the Gandharan Buddhist civilization. The area flourished from the Sixth Century B.C until the Fifth Century A.D. after visit continue driving to Islamabad.

Day 14: Onward flight
